One and a half

Last Saturday I turned 18 months old! Now I can walk all the way to the park and back, I can clap and shake my head (not yet at the same time), and I can point out ducks, bananas, Daddy, Harry and the moon on request.

I had my check up with the nurse last week and I am now 10.7 kg and 84 cm tall! My head circumference and height are right on average for my age, and my weight is around about the 20th percentile. All good! The nurse was very impressed with my block stacking and social skills, and now that I'm almost caught up with my walking my next thing to work on is my language. And I've already started - Mummy takes me to see Jenny the speech therapist every second Wednesday and we play games and do fun things with toys. Actually I'm going again tomorrow!

Gran came over yesterday and we had lots of fun blowing bubbles. Sometimes I love watching bubbles and sometimes I'm busy with other things, but yesterday Gran let me hold the bubble wand and that was HILARIOUS! Have a look at Mummy's video of us and see!
