Check out my birthday cake! Aunty Ferg made me a Very Hungry Caterpillar cake for my half birthday and it was AMAZING! I loved the colours on the caterpillar and tried to hold it but somehow it kept staying just out of reach. Thanks very much Aunty F!
I had my 6-month measurements with the nurse today, and I've put on more weight this month than I have in a while. I weigh 6.8 kg (a gain of more than 300 g this month) and am up 0.5 cm to 68 cm tall. So I'm still extra tall and extra thin, but the nurse isn't worried because I'm so alert and not scrawny looking at all. In fact, after I made lots of eye contact with her (even though I don't know her very well) and gave her a couple of big smiles she said that I'm extra friendly and social! I get that from my Dad. The nurse thinks that I might do better with food if I can eat at the same time as Mummy and Daddy - so that it's something social we do together. So we're going to start doing that because the nurse also said I should try and eat something every day. Ewwww!

Great to receive your blog, isn't Auntie Ferg so clever to make such a beaut 1/2 birthday cake for you. And to think it could just keep moving out of your reach.
Remember the chat we had on the floor the other day about how you would like to see some of your mates eating their food off spoons, that would give you the idea that it is probably a good thing to try, you may be missing out on somthing good. Love, Pa.
