First visit to Boston

Did you know I had never been to Boston before this year? Funny, since Mum goes on about it ALL the TIME. And actually it was great! I found Harvard Yard to be a serious business – maybe I was just a bit tired on our first day. But during our week we had lots of FUN!

The playgrounds were pretty amazing. Our new friend Baby J's Mum mentioned just casually that there was a new playground in Cambridge Common, but she left it for us to discover that it was the best park EVAH! (That's the way they say it there.) It had lots of different activities to do. We especially liked swinging, climbing on the sailboat and sliding down the sandy hill!

I also touched base with some Boston landmarks, like the ducklings in the Public Garden (just like Daniel did) and the Children's Museum (check out Daddy's big bubble in the wet room – he wasn't even wearing a smock!). And I loved the playground at somewhere new for all of us – Castle Island. Our friend Susan took us there. She used to play there when she was little! It had a playground, a beach, a cool fort, lots of planes (landing nearby at Logan airport) and grassy hills for rolling. And Susan even brought her fun 3-year-old nephew and family to play too!
