Last week we went on holiday to the beach at Tootgarook. Before that I had only ever paddled at the beach, but Daddy took me to buy some new bathers before we left so I was ready to get much wetter! On the drive down I practiced saying "Beas! Beas!" and was very excited when we finally saw the beach. At first I was really nervous of the water. Daddy held my hand and we took it really really slowly and I gradually quite enjoyed the water on my feet. So I went in further!
Sitting in the water with Daddy was really fun. I could splash as much as I wanted! We saw some little fish, too. And there was a final treat when we got back to the house – a shower out the back to clean up. I loved standing under the falling water!
