Just before Christmas my Great Aunt Sandra (she loves it when I call her that) came from New Zealand to visit me. And one really hot day we went to the zoo! My friend Ciara from Mother's Group recommended the meerkats, and I think they were my favourites - we saw them at feeding time and they really seemed to like their mealworms! I don't think I would, though. Mummy fed them some of the worms but I didn't find any leftovers when I had my lunch afterwards. I also saw elephants and giraffes and some other animals but they were a bit far away for me to concentrate on. Next time, maybe - because now that Mummy and I are Friends of the Zoo we can pop in anytime we want! Mealworms, anyone?

Hurrah, I'm a friend of the Zoo TOO! I went there today and Mummy and Daddy thought I might like the orang-utans, but actually I prefered to look at the other baby who was there. I do quite like the meerkats, though.
