Christmas day

I got another tooth last week! That's number FIVE - on my right side up the top. And number six is approaching! But mostly I want to tell you about my fun Christmas. It started in the middle of the night before Aunty Sandra left, when Mummy and Daddy scooped me up out of my cot and we went out to see the Christmas lights in Heidelberg. It was strange being out in the night! But I liked the lights and colours.

Then Grandad arrived from New Zealand, and suddenly it was Christmas Day! We all went to church at St Mary's in the morning, and then Aunty Ferg and Uncle Chris came over to cook and help me open my presents. I didn't rip much wrapping paper, even though I often shred magazines and newspapers. But I did like the hanging gift tags very much - the danglier the better!

I liked the ribbons and bows too. Grandad had an excellent gold one for me! He helped me open the box and then showed me how to use the silver spoon and pusher that he used to eat with when he was little. I got the hang of it straight away! But I probably wouldn't wave the spoon around quite so vigorously if it had food on it. I hope you had a happy Christmas (or other festive occasion) too!
