I slept in my own room for the first time last night! I've just about outgrown my bassinette, so on Sunday I had a nap with the bassinette placed in my cot and then yesterday I did all my naps this way. It didn't seem to me to be that different from sleeping in Mummy and Daddy's room, so last night they let me stay in my room to sleep. My very own room! If I sleep fine again today then tomorrow I get to move out of the bassinette and sleep in the cot. I'll let you know!
I've been doing lots of rhymes recently. In fact, just this morning Mummy was reading to me from The Book of Bosh and I found out all about the Quangle Wangle and the Owl and the Pussycat and the Pobble who has no toes. We went to Rhyme Time at the library on Friday as well and sang along to lots of good rhymes. My favourites were the Five Little Speckled Frogs (who sat on a speckled log, eating some most delicious bugs) and There Were Five in the Bed (and the little one said "Roll over! Roll over!).
My skin is still itchy a lot. The nurse said last week that I have eczema, and so Mummy and Daddy have been coating my head in a very goopy cream and putting a wet cloth around my neck. This feels cold and funny! But it makes my skin feel better too.
