I had my 4 month assessment with the nurse yesterday. She weighed and measured me, and I showed her how good I am at smiling and squirming. She said I am extremely active for my age!
I do seem to have forgotten to put on weight this month. I have only put on 110 g (in the past I've usually gained that much in a week), so my weight has gone from the 60th percentile down to the 20th or so. But I have been growing - it's just been UP! I am now 66 cm, so my height is at about the 80th percentile for my age. So I'm turning into a tall thin type of baby! I'm going back in a month's time to get weighed again, just to see how I'm doing. Please remind me to put on weight this month - I'm so busy watching and grabbing everything that I might forget.
Just to show Mummy and Daddy how active I am, I rolled over from my tummy to my back for the first time last night! They were very excited and I was too. It's a whole new angle for me to watch the world from!

Dear Daniel,
It sounds like you're copying your Mum. When she was your age she too had a few goes at not putting on much weight to the clinic sister's dismay. All turned out to be OK though.
Turning over sounds like a very exciting new move.
Congratulations!
Love from Grandma Ruth. x
