I saw a possum! After dinner on Tuesday we heard a possum at the back door and went to check it out. Mummy lifted me up so I could see him sitting on the pergola and we were practically nose to nose! I watched for ages. We went back to look a couple more times, and once saw the possum climbing on the fence by the shed next door. It was amazing! I've been asking to look for possums every night since.Image: Steve Broadley
Sometimes the possum isn't there, though, because he's busy. Mummy and I had a talk last night about what the possum might be doing when he's not in the back yard. I had lots of ideas.

Hello Daniel,
Do you think that the possum might be eating any of the plants in your garden? In our garden they eat the camelia buds. I wonder if they have eaten any of your daphne?
Yesterday we saw an echidna on our walk but he was hiding from us so we only saw lots of spikes on his round back.
