Weekend adventures

What a lot of adventures I had last weekend with Grandad! The fun started at the Merri Creek Primary School Fete, where I had a sausage for lunch and played on the climbing frames with Aunty Ferg and got two new Thomas books at the book stall! I really wanted to go on the bouncing castle with the monkey on the front, but when I tried it out with Aunty Ferg and Daddy it was a bit too scary. Maybe next time – I've kept mentioning monkeys to Mummy and Daddy all this week so they don't forget.

We had brunch on Sunday at the Botanic Gardens just near the Children's Garden, which I hadn't visited before. I loved walking along the creek! There were plant tunnels and a secret grotto and spiky mazes and I can't wait to go back again. (And now that Mummy has switched around the pram seats I can choose whether to sit up the front or in the hidden racing seat at the back – how fun is that?)

In the afternoon we went to an amazing Railway Museum Grandad knew about in Williamstown. Wow! There were trains everywhere, AND steps to climb up and down to get into them. I'm not sure which I enjoyed more!
