Roar!

Look, I'm a tiger! On Thursday I went to the zoo with Mummy, Ben and Aunty Sandra and we saw zebras and giraffes and ostriches and my very favourite, tigers. And when we saw Gina from Mothers Group there doing face painting, Aunty Sandra suggested that I could be a tiger too!

I was a bit nervous about the paint but Gina got me to sit on Mummy's lap and showed me how she makes tiger fur and whiskers so I knew what was happening. I loved my tiger face! Mummy had trouble taking photos because I was trying to get to the camera screen to see myself again.

We stayed at the zoo until my nap time, so by the time we got home I was quite tired and lots of my tiger face was gone from rubbing my eyes and sucking my fingers. But I wasn't too tired to do some good ROARS with Mummy in the bathroom while we cleaned up! I waved at myself in the mirror and said "Bye tiger" while Mummy wiped my mouth. But we agreed to leave my tiger eyebrows on until bedtime because we both liked them so much. Get ready – on the count of three: one, two, three, ROAR!
