Oh my goodness, how much fun is the beach?! After lunch at Gran's on Boxing Day we walked down to the beach and raked sand and dug holes and buried my cousin Mia up to her waist. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better Daddy took me over to the water and I had my first paddle in the waves! Whee! The water swooshed over my feet and I loved squatting down to touch it. I held Daddy's hand and we walked along in the squishy sand with the waves swirling round and it was wonderful.
After we left the beach we had another little play at Gran's but I was really tired and fell asleep in the car on the way home, which I NEVER do anymore! So I must have had a really lovely day :)
