Saturday was the wettest day of my life. It was the most rain in a Melbourne day since 2006, before I was born! I went out the back in the morning during a brief dry patch to have a stomp, and loved running back and forth across the paving. (I was having too much fun to stop for a non-blurry photo.)
After my nap (and after I changed out of all my wet clothes) we went to Daddy's work Christmas party, and I was a winner! I won one of the two prizes in the kid's raffle and for the first time I worked out how fun it is to rip off wrapping paper. Apparently this realization comes at a good time. I was very impressed with my counting jigsaw, especially the little suitcase it comes in, and also enjoyed climbing up and down all the different stairs in the restaurant. But no-one would come outside with me, even though the huge winds and horizontal rain looked like lots of fun to play in. Maybe next time.
