My Dad and me

Yesterday was my very first Father's Day with my Dad! We spent the whole day doing fun things together. First we went down to St Mary's Anglican Church in North Melbourne. I haven't been there before, although I've been to Brunswick Uniting with Daddy a few times. Lots of people said hello to me during the greeting of the peace and I had a little sleep during the sermon so I was well rested to be smiled at some more at morning tea!

Then I took Daddy to lunch at Small Block on Lygon Street, which is one of his favourite places to eat. I gave him a notebook with Lottie the funny silverfish on the cover who says "I never ate a book I didn't like" - because I feel exactly the same way! After lunch we went on a big walk together and Daddy put me up on his shoulders which I love. I had to really concentrate to get a grip on his hair, but I put all my effort into it and managed a few good tugs. Daddy said I was surprisingly strong! Thank you Daddy, I love you too!
