By the river

The other week we went for a trip to the nursery, and afterwards we explored down by the Maribynong River.



We were pretty keen to see a boat, but Mum said there probably wouldn't be any boats coming past during the week. But then look what we saw!



Is it a tram? Is it a boat? It's a tramboat! The captain dinged the bell as he went past, and it sounded just like a tram. But it sailed on the water! We waved and all the passengers waved back.
