There were lots of recycled materials that kids could use to decorate their candle holders. I went with a combination of cardboard, foil and fabric. Pretty cool! I liked colouring in the Christmas colouring sheets Dad printed out, and it was fun to explore the playground by the lake too.

Carols
On Saturday Ben and I went to our first Carols by Candelight! We started warming up our singing voices in the car before we left.

But I reckon probably my favourite thing was having my own Christmas candle. It was pretty windy, but I was very careful and kept my candle lit the longest of anyone! I'd like to come again to Carols next year. By the way, my daycare Christmas party on Friday was really fun and my class did a little performance! Mum has a movie of it that you can watch next time you're at my house, if you want.
