Phillip Island with friends

In my kinder class we have two visitors, Lek and PP, who take it in turns to go home with everyone in my room during the year. I was so thrilled it was my turn to have them when we went to Phillip Island! I helped Lek to have a good look through the telescope at the Nobbies, and took PP on the boardwalk so she could see the penguins we found in a burrow.

I loved being the leader exploring the rock pools. I liked looking inside the pools but even more I liked the climbing and balancing and working out where to step next.

We had lovely warm weather for swimming and sandcastle building. After dinner I took PP to the Penguin Parade to show her all the penguins coming out of the water and up the beach. I loved seeing the penguins wait for their friends and then waddle home all together!

Mum printed out the best photos and then I stuck them in Lek and PP's journal, so everyone in my room can see what we did together. I did a drawing of them as well for them to remember me by! I really loved having them both come to my house.
