The digger park

The last new park we tried out while Dad was in Sydney is officially called Jones Reserve, but really it should be called the digger park. Because for us it was all about the diggers! Two of them, mounted in a big sandpit, that we could ride on and try to scoop with. Although I was at full stretch just trying to hold on to the controls! There were lots of other things at the park too – a big fort, a slide, musical things to jump on and hit, a pond with lots of ducks and a giant hill for running up and rolling down.

Daniel got pretty good at moving the lever and the scooper. I had a bit of a go at hitting the musical mushrooms but kept coming back to the diggers because they were so different and fun. I had a really good time!
