I like hats

Ever since Grandad visited a couple of weeks ago and let me wear his funny woollen cap I've been all about hats. I've tried putting socks and bibs on my head but really hats seem to work best. So Mummy made me a new snug fleecy hat (with ears!) and I tried it out on a visit to the park. I like it! Since then I've been pulling it out of my bag from time to time and placing it on my head, but I have to ask Mummy or Daddy to put it on properly. Sometimes it feels too funny and I pull it off again. Then I have another chance to put it on!

At the park I did lots of running around and made a small collection of tan bark. Then Daddy lifted me up on his lap so that I could reach the telescope. Fun! And while we were there we heard "clip clop clip clop" and two big white horses trotted down the road! They were all dressed up and pulling a carriage to a wedding. I was very impressed!

you'd need your hat if you were here in Alaska too Daniel.Last night we camped in an Aspen wood where bears have left their poo and we saw 3 deer cross the path just a few metres from us and walk into the woods. The scenery has been breathtaking and the sun shining.love gran and trevor
